Just after celebrating the 50 years of India Independence, We could understand that the goals, whith were set during the Independence such as eradication of poverty, education to all, social and legal securities, empowerment of women etc. Inspite of India being a democratic country, it proves to be only in papers, since; we could find some gray-hair in between of beurocratism, i.e., Poor becoming poorer, rich becoming richer.
To sustain the democracy and to eradicate gray hair government has taken steps through liberalization, decentralization almost in all fields. These modern concepts proved to be more appropriate even for none Governmental agen cies. Due to growing Population it is mere impossible for the government. organizations came in to existence in order to fulfill the goals of the government. To take part in fulfilling these virtues of eradicating Poverty, education to all, securing people With social and legal assistance, KAHIJA was born.

OBJECTIVES :-
The objective of KAHIJA is to " Live and Let Live ", ( Let us Live with more projects and make the target group gain with those projects ) among the women and children. The highlights of our objectives are -
- To share our shoulders among the people living in the urban slums and industrialareas.
- To give them the platform and to create a definite lifestyle.
- To make them aware specifically women about the rights, equality, quality of life.
- To make them aware of sentiments, values, morals, education, technology, etc.
- To make them aware about the diseases, causes, and its treatment and drugs.
